For some time now I have attempted to develop a true sense of emotion into my work. Oklahoma portrays a sense like no other state.  While her beauty may not lie in majestic mountains or towering waterfalls, she does have something unique; Her weather. Oklahoma’s ability to produce stunning lighting displays and fierce thunder storms is like nowhere else. The location of the shot really stood out against the backdrop of the amazing light display. 

 

I created this shot to instill a sense of excitementand danger. Lightning is one of the most unique phenomena’s in the world. The Sense of power and energy in a fraction of a second is like nothing else. 

I hope anyone viewing this image will be inspired by the frightening beauty that is dangerous midnight
